An AI-powered platform for K-12 schools that streamlines grading, surfaces learning analytics, and gives both teachers and school leadership the data clarity they need to make better decisions.
As founding design lead, I owned the end-to-end design process from early research and system architecture to final UI delivery. I also acted as proxy PM in the early stages, and took on design team management as the team grew.
While teachers are buried in manual grading and repetitive admin work, school leadership lacks the data visibility needed for quality control and meaningful decision-making, all across disconnected tools with no unified system in place.
Conducted interviews and contextual research with 10+ teachers across 5+ international schools, alongside competitive analysis of leading teaching management tools.
common pain points
- repetitive grading work: teachers spend excessive time on manual input, scoring, and review with no automation or intelligent assistance.
- inconsistent evaluation standards: no unified grading flow means scoring varies across teachers and departments, making cross-case comparison and compliance review unreliable.
- limited learning insights: performance data exists but is fragmented, making it hard to turn into actionable teaching decisions or identify student knowledge gaps quickly.
- broken workflow continuity: the full instructional cycle spans multiple disconnected tools, creating constant context-switching and rework.
